Hi Speckfinder, welcome to the AGP.
Good to see you are using a Miller Table. Brilliant for getting that fine gold out of black sand.
If you have any questions, just ask, someone will have the answer.
Good area around Albury, you have plenty of places to try out. Good luck with your prospecting.
Jeff

Welcome to the forum speckfinder. If you have any questions please ask as I'm sure that someone on the forum will be able to answer it for you. Would love to see the plans for your miller table and some photos of it in operation if you can manage it. Your lucky that the wife is also interested in this hobby as mine thinks I'm bonkers for chasing gold. Rowdy

Hi Rowdy, thats where I got my name from the wife because I only came home with specks in the eaarly days Its great to have the wife come along even if she only sits in the sun and reads, but of late she has seen gold on quartz so she goes around picking up quartz. Can you put photos straight on (small size)or do they need to go through photo bucket, video might be a bit out of reach not real smart with compters Cheers

Ha Ha speckfinder, I know what you mean about finding specks, the first time I came home with gold I had about 5 specks in the pan and when I used a tissue to suck up the water it also sucked up the 5 specks never to be seen again. Something that Mrs Rowdy has never let me forget.
Thanks for putting up those photos, I just haven't quite worked out the way it works yet so a bit of a google should tell me. Rowdy

On picture 1 the water feed comes in at the middle of the top of the PVC tube (has a adjuster tap) this is to get even pressure across the spray. On the down side of the spray bar is a baffle wall so water comes out even. it has height adjusment at the back to get the right slope Hope this helps. I will try and get video later Cheers Works off 12 volt bilge pump

G'day Speckfinder, Just noticed this post. What have you painted the bottom of the Miller Table with? It looks like chalkboard paint? I'm interested in making something small and portable myself but most designs I've seen are quite comlex to build. This looks nice and easy for a backyard metal worker Ric
