Wont be heading out until Tuesday or Wednesday Phillip. I reckon it will be fairly up and dirty. Lost a bracket off the HB when I was last out. Must be a sign to retire the ole galvanised girl. Spent the weekend drawing a plan and delivering to a mate to fab me up new aluminium hopper and sluice. Paying by Australian Currency (box of beer)

Thank you for the offer Phillip, very kind of you but I have sized up the new gear based on the old so I can re-use the Riffles, Classfier and trusty old carpet. Hope you do well this weekend and get a good run. Lately it's been taking until mid arvo before I could get on. Arthur - where did you find the level readings? Got a man on the ground or you just 'pop out' for some ' milk'...?

lol..cheers Arthur. Got out there today and it had a good flood. Got some nice pieces where there was only fine flour gold before. Had to MacGyver up a temp bracket out of rebar and some copper pipe to be able to use the HB, but it saw the day out and did its job luckily.. Good gold sitting on the clay too wherever there are eddies.
