was trying to see if having a low profile would be better for my back as i'm not lifting a shovel full of dirt any higher than needed but if it's to low legs can be put onto it. The small expanded mesh I got form a steel shop the large mesh I have had lying around for ages its bigger than it looks the highbanker is 10 inches wide so the mesh is about 3 inches wide each opening if its to wide i'll swap it out for small size. hopefully I can just set it on the ground and start the pump and dig away we will see. If its a failure I can just add a hopper and grizzly and legs and have a normal high banker.

had a test and have added some pics. spray pattern needs spray to come from the top so will drill more holes there after running a large bucket through this is what is in the bottom riffles I think that it needs either more water flow or more angle on the sluice what do you guys think? I think that its to loaded and have not cleared properly. panned the top and bottom sections apart from each other an this was in the bottom. and this in the top so 95% in the top 5 % in the bottom will have to pan the overflow to see if any have made it out of the highbanker.

Spray bars look sufficient to me skip, comes down to the ground type and how quick you like shoveling, your sluice looks good enough to get the tiny stuff. Good work , thanks for sharing the pics.

ok just finished the tailings and the most micro tiny speck was there can't say for sure it came out with the highbanker tailing and there was no heavies in the panning either, but was really happy with the end result so feel confident with it all so far.

Thanks chimpy I used the 25mm pipe work and used 2.38 mm drill for the jets have added 11 jets on the cross pipe will test the flow again next time I go out on the gold fields have already started to plan phase 2 of the project I may add another sluice run underneath and have a taller stand to bring it up to waste high. basically it hill be that the top hopper will have its own sluice section and the bottom built for ultra fine gold trapping, but starting to feel like I need may need a group session.
Hi my name is skip and I have been highbanker modding free for 3 days. ;D

Finally finished the highbanker and just needs a test here are the pictures. used inch pipework so hope theres enough flow will run some dirt that I have saved up for testing now just to find a dam. Hi Hereskip Can I ask where you got the large expanded mesh piece from? I have been looking for some around that size but apart from buying a whole sheet I can't find anywhere that has offcuts. Cheers Ric
