Bloody awesome DD, You may eventually get up this way and we will head on out to Glendon for a bit of a run. That feeder for the blue bowl, where can I get one of those, looks angus mackirkish to me. Bad spelling ;D Good to see the AGP gang meeting one another. Cheers Brad...

G'day Brad, it is the Mckirk feeder. Works very well, with alot of the gold ending up in the 3 riffles in the feeder itself.
I think NFDU is where i got mine from.

Hey Ian, If you dont mind me asking, what cost are we looking at for one of those? I have ressurected the old blue bowl. Sand blasted, 2 coats of abrasive resistent primer and 2 coats of Bradken Blue paint. It is one of the very 1st blue bowls made out of metal, even got the original blue bowl VHS instruction video, shame I cant play it now. Cheers Brad...

G'day Brad, did not see it at NFDU any more but seems prospecting supplises has the for $125. I would think if your a bit handy though you would be able to make something similar out of a milk container or similar cut in the right shape and mounted on a stand with a drip line at the back.

Glendon has some real small gold and this would be ideal for the fly mesh stuff. We have a 3D printer at work and can print items out 1000X1000X1000 so I could model one up in cad and print one out with riffles in it, but I would have to see how much it would cost and if viable. Brad.

Hey Brad have a look at old mates setup here Yes a bit over the top lab style but feeder system is pretty simple to make. I have an auto feeder setup on mine..its called an esky and is extremely handy whilst working with the Blue Bowl.
Diggerdude... Always look forward to your updates, your living the life mate.
When you get up near can toad country maybe Brad if your keen , have a bit of a poke around the Upper Clarence/ Timbarra region in Northern NSW ??

Hey Eldarado, I used to have a claim on the upper clarence area (Tooloom). That was a few years ago though and just recently tried to buy 100 acres of tooloom dirt with good gold on it. I cut my teeth on the Tooloom and Drake fields and the lower Clarence area but never got up into the Timbarra area. Did a lot of dredging yrs back on the Clarence, but a lot now is privatly owned and access is a bit of a problem. Cheers Brad....

Hey Brad Mate saw that block you were looking at and the other land with mining lease . 5-10 blokes chipping in on that would have been chicken feed based on yearly cost and even if you found bugger all having your own land to play in would have been well worth the coin..
Been hoping to cross paths with you out Glendon way but recently been heading up Kilkivan but I've done a couple of successfull hits near the Timbarra but still trying to work out the area. I've just been hiking into an area and classifying and then bring material home and run it there. Definitely some chunk down there but you earn it with the hiking and climbing.
Was hoping to catch you out at Glendon sometime and pick your brains a bit or hook up a bit of a trip down Drake/Tooloom/Tabulam way for a bit of a bopeep but like you said a hell of a lot of the area is locked up now.
