Added a new bit of gear to my ever growing collection of gold prospecting stuff. Bought a core drill. 30mm cores, 400mm sections so I can now test to 1200mm very easy and NO digging, wohooo.
Was hoping to get out and about this weekend to test it out, No.3 son put a stop to that. No.10 grandchild arrived yesterday and I'll be in Sydney welcoming him to the world. Should start brain washing him very early, I'll need a good shovel hand when when I'm too geriatric to move (and that's only a couple of weeks away)
Have a great long weekend for those lucky enough to have one, nah, just have a good one anyway.
Jeff

Congrats on the new grandchild, sounds like you will have a small army to help you with your digging Will be very interested to see your new contraption in action. Is it an auger or an actual core drill?

Congratulations on the new family addition Jeff. As you get older, you can never have too many helping hands. Core drill sounds interesting.
