I started putting a few of my better bits and pieces on this table to try and show them off. That was good for a little while but its starting to get a bit crowded now. Got a lot more i would like on there, maybe i need a bigger table

Amazing. Natures colour. I got to look at my first piece of pyrite the other day out in the bush thanks for a lovely young prospector whom had it on him. It was great to see IRL - no wonder they called it fools gold. I got some nice little pieces of Amethyst & Quartz just from noodling on a hillside after the rains. Had a great time - not much digging Yep - get another table. Well worth the display.

I am still amazed seeing all the different ways rocks and minerals can form. I have got excited a few times seeing some gold flecks in quartz and granite only to discover it was chalcopyrite. I have a small pyrite cluster and a few cubes, but they have a silver sheen instead of gold. May look at getting a display cabinet... Starting to think a table big enough for my rocks may not fit in the house let alone the room

Yes Harry, i am very glad i found that auction. Just wish i would have got a few more of the rock lots now. There were a few very interesting specimens amongst it all including some glendonite and selestite. Still have a couple of bits i am trying to identify, but am getting there.
