Hi all I'm back from the GT sorry no vid's of gold detecting as I snapped the camera mount putting on the detector shaft thought it was more durable, thank you Andy for the day's you came to the camp shame it rained and rained and rained did manage to pick up a few tiny bits before it rained and rained and rained again, thanks Flying Scott for the great gem cutter and the stone that you let me have can't wait to set it up and try it out. Thanks Phill what a neat sluice you sold me and another thing I can't wait to try out, well more to follow when I settle back in cheers

G'day Ian and thanks for that the trip was O.K. it would have been better if it didn't rained for the first two weeks straight turning the ground to mud then the sun came out for one day and then it rained again (wrong time of year for the trip) so all I could do was sit in the van and watched movies or sit drinking with my mates by the log fire in the long shed until the ground was dry enough to dig and when I did manage to swing a coil I'm not that fit so I didn't last to long walking the leads (need to brace my right knee to last longer swinging a coil) so that was about that Ian did pick up Scotty's Gemmaster and heaps of cutters and Phills very well made sluice (very nice) cheers

Bad luck with the rain mate, but we did have a wetter winter this year than we have for quite a while. Hopefully it's much better next time you come down this way. Thanks for letting me tag along with you.
