Here`s day 2 of my recent trip to Tyndrum, Scotland gold prospecting for a weekend. This was a better days prospecting compared to day 1 with small pieces of gold showing up in the pan each time I sluiced a bucket. The video shows a bit of gold panning after sluicing a bucket and retrieving the material from the hole I created using my manual gold pumps (and then showing the filled in hole for good measure). There is 1 more day from this trip to come so subscribe to my channel to stay up to date with my prospecting trips if you`d like to

Looks nice and peaceful around there to do some panning and sluicing. Iam guessing its starting to get a bit cool though? Is there a decent pub nearby to warm up at the end of the day?
Thanks for sharing and happy hunting.

This sluice doesn`t use any carpets at all, its a moulded fibreglass drop riffle sluice which I use 90% of the time and it still catches everything I`ve found from pickers to fine flour gold, its a really easy sluice to use and set up and cleaning it out literally takes seconds as you just stand it up and wash it down into a bucket and with no carpet to catch anything, all the material just drops straight into a bucket or pan.
Its a lovely place to visit and do some panning, this area actually has a little town with pubs & restaurants but when I go, I go in my camper so take all home comforts with me so I don`t have to go looking for things but yes, it`s certainly getting nippy up there now
