I was about to write off the Evo 12 inch as a dud coil as I hadn't had much success with and I was beginning to think I was wasting my time with it. Today it surprised me when I found a tiny sub grammer at 6". It gave a very loud signal and I was expecting a much larger piece. Anyway it's had a reprieve for a while and I may not get rid of it just yet. Rowdy

Update on the 12" Evo coil, I have found practically nothing this year using the Evo, Tuesday I changed back to a non flat wound coil and straight away I started to get some small bits of gold. I wonder how much I've missed by perservereng with this useless coil. Rowdy

G'day mate I forget what you swing but if it works with a 4500 or a 5000 and it's a mono I'll take it off your hands, that's if you want to get rid of it so just give me a price Peter, cheers Harry.

Hi Nuggethill, I swing a 5000 and yes it was a mono. I was bitterly disappointed in the 12" and the 13"x17" coil of the same brand is in my opinion a far superior coil in all respects except it's so heavy. Unfortunately the 12" has already found a new home. Rowdy
