I am off to Yandal WA this weekend.
When I am in the bush, I cook a variety of vegetables in the coals, then I put my steak on.
I cook potatoes, carrots, parsnips, baby beetroot and zucchinis. I just roll them up with about three layers of alu foil and leave them in for various lengths of time. Spuds take the longest, then beetroot and carrots then zucchinis.
Another odd thing I do - I put french onion dip on the spud - yum.
I eat on a paper plate so the only washing up is a knife and fork. perfect !
Breakfast is coco pops with a 500ml bottle of longlife low fat ( does not taste boiled ) chocolate milk. I am taking 36 bottles for this trip !
Cheers,
Jigalong.
