Welcome to the Alluvial Gold Prospectors of Australia
This is a forum for Prospectors to share their knowledge, information and experiences on this great hobby.
Although we are based in Australia, it does not matter which country you live.
Members are mainly involved in gold panning and sluicing, many hunt for gemstones and also detect for gold nuggets, coins and relics.
Group trips may be organised throughout the year to various locations and members and their families are invited to attend. These trips give members the opportunity to make friendships with people who share a common interest, exchange ideas and gain invaluable experience in the art of prospecting.
If you are new to prospecting the threads on this forum contain all the questions and answers for getting started.
To keep this site interesting and enjoyable, members are encouraged to post and participate in the threads.
Membership is free and your contact details will remain private. It only takes a minute to complete the membership application which will be manually approved.
