Ok thought I may just add something that would go well with any fire or even as good in the kitchen...
One pre-requisit here tho, please scrub all dirt off nails, and out of fingers, depending on what in the skin, it can ruin a good cook up or improve it, but will wont consider the later....
A recipe for all, easy and fun, plus you dont need to go to the chinese takeaway for it....
Chinese chicken and corn soup....
Takes 15-20 minutes at most....
Ingredients:
Can of creamed corn, 440ml for large(4ppl) or 220ml for 2
cup of frozen corn(or use canned kernels)(same size used for both above, just more kernels in smaller mix)...
2x chicken stock cubes
4 to half a bunch of spring onion(shellotts)
teasthingy butter(or for silly ones, use marg)Butters better, its only natural...
200 to 300 gramms of cooked and diced chicken...(you can cook that first in the pan, adds more flavour...)
1.5 to 2.5 ltr water
1x egg beaten in cup
cook an dice chook
dice spring onion and cook in butter in saucepan(cast 4 ltr dutch oven)
add stock cubes
add chook to pan
add corn, both lots
and from 1.5 ltrs to 2.5ltrs water
Bring this whole lot to the boil, and then drop to the edge of the fire to hold the boil, after a minute add egg very slowly to the boiling soup, while stirring soup all the time...(should create threads of egg)
Bring soup back to the boil to cook egg(as soon as it comes to the boil again its cooked) and then serve immediately...
you can get upto 4 good serves with this, but i must say right here, you will never have enough, so if you have 8 people, then double everything, and same for 12, use three times the base recipe...for 2 you can make full recipe and forget any other food, it is that yummmy....
Thats my teaser recipe...
