G'day I've just joined the forum. I am interested in learning alluvial gold prospecting and hope to have a house built in Tabulam (Upper Clarence) by Christmas. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who is interested in panning in this area who wouldn't mind showing me the ropes.
I'm also researching chinese archaeological sites in the area and am starting to get a good idea of where gold has been found in the past. I've heard that the best place to find gold is where its been found before. do you guys agree with that?

Hi Misstrees and Welcome to the site. We are a mad bunch but a likable lot, and it is great to see another lady joining the site as well. We are starting to get a few young ladies now that contribute here as well, so don't feel out in coming forward and asking questions. You have come to the right place to learn alluvial prospecting as between us all there is a load of info out there, all you have to do is tap in on it, just ask. I am sure there is someone living in your area that would like to show you the ropes. Cheers and welcome again Nugget893

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Good to hear there are other women in the forum. Sadly I'm not a "young" lady, but I guess that's relative. I talk a lot with senior citizens and they call me a girl! Woohoo!
I'd love to hear from anyone from southern QLD who may be panning in the Upper clarence in the next 6 months.
