hi white eagle, hows it going, sell the house, buy a nice comfortable camper and jus bum around prospecting, when it gets colder just head abit north, and when it warms up just come back, thats what id do simple as that. i own half a house that my x lives in, but dont really want to make her sell it, but if she does, thats what i will be doing, you dont really need a house if your kids are grown up, and you love the bush and prospecting. that my serious answer. john

Hello, Hans,
I have a friend that had a lovely house in Warnambool, but she loved travelling very much in her small Campervan, so she was hardly ever home. Three years ago she sold her house and bought a Winnebago Motorhome. What luxury she is travelling in now. She has more mod cons than she had in her house, and the best part she said was that she does not have to go back all the time to attend to bills like rates, Electricity, etc. and take care of the house. And she can stop wherever she wants, cities, towns, in the bush or on river banks. Has met hundreds of wonderful people in her travels and got a lot of helpful advise about camping spots and road conditions.
Mind you, that lady is 65 years old, only about 5'3" and slim. One would mistake her for a little girl. But she drives this huge truck with ease and confidence. At the moment she is exploring Tasmania.
Have a look at all the different Motorhomes Winnebago alone makes.
www.winnebago.com.au/
This will keep you busy and dreaming. But ---- take Toula to a couple of Motorhome Shows, and talk to people who are living their life on the road.
I wish we had the money, or owned the house. I would agree to sell up like a shot and go walkabouts with Peter for the rest of our lifes. Maybe one day I'll stumble over a clinker big enough to fulfill our dream?
Dreams do come true,
Erica
