I have been waiting for 6 months to get my piece of slate to make my Miller table. (THE most effective method of extracting micron gold from black sand). Guess this weekend is going to be spent in the shed, can't wait to get started, can't wait to get finished, can't wait to try it out. I'll let you all know how it goes. Jeff

Thanks Grandpa. I'll try and post some pics when have it fine tuned. I made a small simple version about 2 years ago, I was amazed how fine the gold is that it is capable of holding. I couldn't see individual pieces without a loupe. The down side of the table is its weight, the piece of slate is almost 20kg. Went up to Tuena today to have sneak preview, 1st time I have been there, wow, what a nice little town. We are going up next Friday for the weekend to do some sluicing with my Grandsons. Will be running the concentrate over the table when I get back. Cross your fingers for some fine weather. Happy fossicking. Jeff
