I have nearly completed my first high banker ... But stuck on spray bar ... What im looking for is a way to connect 50mm layflat piping to a 50mm drainage elbow. Saw Kiwijw's post in projects but that didnt help much. (however his highbanker was certainly an inspiration) Also wondering if anyone in Brisbane (or anywhere i guess)that has any 45mm hose to go from pump to water supply that they may want to sell Pics to follow soon Cheers Jason Ps really need to get project done by 2nd Sept ...

50 mm spray bars are much to big, 20 mm is the most used size. what size pump are you intending to use ? a 1" 2 stroke or 4 stroke is heaps big enough to run any banjo. Grandpa

picked up a pump 4 stroke - with 50mm outlets .... was going for price and it was the cheapest .... cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330600073663Anyway wouldnt have thought size of pipes would have mattered ... other than being a real pain to find fittings for. Once pressure builds up in pipes its up to the holes how much water is released regardless of pipe size, unless im missing something that the more experienced amoung us know

The highbanker looks great jason, nice work! I didnt have the patience to build one myself, I paid. If you get a threaded pvc fitting you can screw on a poly layflat hose connection. Mine has a T piece and a valve, the brass fitting is for your hose to assist in washing down, threaded pvc where you put hose fitting.

well the comment about 50mm being too big can be scratched, as i have tested my banjo in the field now and it works like a champ ... on idle the water jets go nicely. good waterflow etc

also jason, the holes at the end of the stray bars make them a little larger as crap works it 's way down to the end and blocks up the last hole or 2 if you make them a little larger the crap passes through perry

hey jason, 90deg elbow will not work only hit you in the eye...was meant to read 45deg elbow at ground level so flat hose lays flat...it works a treat jununka
