For those rural areas where its a bit hard to find some information, where would I need to look if I want to find out who is the land owner/owners for an area?
I would like to do some fossicking along the yass valley, and have a few creeks I would like to explore, but don't have any contacts to seek permission.
I have the creek names, but how would I find out whose land it runs through?

The best way is go to the area and knock on doors mate. James

Sometimes,in country areas, getting to know the local publican and some of the regulars can be very useful.
Most land owners are amenable if you use the right approach.
