The trip to tuena last weekend was a good one, me skip and his brother started to dig under a tree upstream from the cricket shed this spot was giving up its gold a plenty some nice bits came to light the further we dug under the tree.... Some skips gold And a few pics of what i got ;D The days where cold and the water colder and the nights below zero but staying inthe cricket shed has its high points roof over your head and power for the electric blankets for the swags seen in the photos below So guys the next time your out at tuena book the cricket shed and you will be toasty warm for those winter nights, Hope to be back out there soon... Happy Hunting....Dave..

Dave - little research from discovery channel and what people like watching 'Gold Rush: Alaska': success - as the shows ratings continue to increase, so do their paychecks. Ive read that each person is getting roughly $25,000 an episode (increases as ratings go up), Skip will need more than one camera man ;D

Was a good trip I ended up with a little over 4grams for the weekend and an entire week of ribbing an "take a teaspoon of concrete to harden the f#@k up" from the skip junior and Co. Man I was cold and no gloves no hands in the water early of a morning. Mean while back at tuena skip and goldrocs continue into winter with electric blankets on but trouble, the long handle shovel has broken down snapped at the handle goldrocs turns to skip and asks "do you need a hug". Just writing the script for Gold Rush Tuena. Cheers Skip
