Tomorrow I get the opportunity to use the Bazooka. Seems odd there are no riffles, but a collecting area for gold. I've watched the Utube trailer and if it is as it said we are in for one hell of a day. The other news, I'll be with yet another member from here. I have to say that's a great thing, getting to meet others that enjoy the same hobby or should I say 'Disease' lol It's been pleasurable so far meeting some awesome people and tomorrow should be no different. The river is up a wee bit, the area is planned and I know once we get the depth the colour should show KD

Kajana from this site has made hs own Bazooka style sluice & it's working for him fine. His is made of ply board I think - looks good & catches any gold that goes thru the grizzly bars on the entry.
Good luck & post up some pictures/video if you can

I'm gunna buy one regardless I think, but I'm a wee bit excited to have a field test day. And what better way than a known area for .3, .4, to .8 nuggets. Can only hope the shovel strikes are the right ones. Two shovels times 7 digging hours. Holy gold nuggets. Lol I'll get back to you all tomorrow night

I have one mate. Work is easy and fast if you have a good angle and good water flow. Grizzly bar can get clogged with heavy clay and take a screwdriver to dislodge rocks that get jammed in the bars. Otherwise I think you will happy with your results. Some people have put an extra grizzly bar over the top to stop the thin flat rocks getting through. Others have managed to make it into a high banker. Good luck

The results...... There is a slight pulse, shallow breathing and a sore body. Lol Ever been out to an area where you know holds the yella stuff and you can't find it?? We had us one of them days guys. The bazooka is amazing!! Say no more. I'm going down there again this morning with the Angus to find it. I know it's there and I hate When you have someone with you, you talk it up and nothing shows. Just one of those days. The water was up, it was cold, a shovel broke, yup, a pretty damn good day just to be out there Thanks for making the trip Allan. Next time we will work an area neither of us know KD

Thanks for a good day on the Yarrowee KD ... Yep it was cold. You just know your going to have a good day when ya break your new shovel 15 mins into your day. As for colour in the Yarrowee have no doubt its there. River was up making life a little tuff. The Bazooka Miner Sluice worked well and did hold and recover some gold... just not up too a KD days taking...lol
It dose work better with a 2 person operation and first set up can be tricky getting the flow right. Once set up works like a charm. Hitting a nice pocket of gold this sluice will catch it all. Clean up the Miner can be heavy lifting out of the water. Conclusion: Next size down may be easier to manage in the river. Gold is where you find it, not always where you think it may be.

I played in the river again!! Guilty your honour. Lol I was unable to get a good flow close to a dig spot and no tub so I went shovel n tongs. I got annoyed with constant shot so I moved to an unlikely spot and 90 mins later..... 1/2 gram Go figure. I learned a bit from another panning brethren fellow so it was a good day. Hey smokey, the first colour and you came to mind, pity it wasn't yesterday. I've walked past this spot every time down there.

Hey smokey, it was a frustration dig and bang. Colour. Not my likely choice but like we know. It's where you find it. Hey kajana, I'll get it posted I think, I'd be keen to sell my gardening business and be a trader for them. I believe I'd keep them busy building for an Aussie market. Lol Every man and his pan will want one. Back down the river in the morn, gunna classify a tub load, sluice it and hopefully have a good amount at the end of it
