Hi all, My names obviously Joe. I'm a builder/developer from Sydney and a bit of an entrepreneur. I've always been interested in prospecting but more on the large scale earth moving side of things (looking at staking a claim in the not so distant future - hopefully), but I of all people know you have to learn to crawl before you can walk (even though my mother says i started walking before i started crawling).
I've done a bit of research on areas to go, what to look out for and how to read the land. As a builder I've done a lot of digging, I've got a crap load of tools and I've spent more time at the end of a shovel than I would have liked! Hopefully it will pay off one day. I can operate an excavator too which may come in handy.
There is literally tonnes of material on here for anyone interested and i applaud you guys for your determination and for sharing your knowledge. I hope to return the favor as my knowledge and experience grows. if i ever stake a claim i definitely know where to start looking for budding gold miners!
Well thats my intro - i hope to see you guys out there on the field! and please excuse my newbie questions, i'm sure i'll have plenty.
Cheers, Joe

i always find a way to ask the silly ones.. it helps me develop my insane theories.
so far im looking to find all my material separating gear, i was thinking of building a sluice that fed into a highbanker which then feeds into a concentrator. my only foreseeable issue is removing water flow between each system as well as getting the proper size material moving to each. i guess ill have to figure that out when testing it.
