G'Day Madmarshall, If what I read about gold in California and your laws on how and what can be used to recover it, I can see some one living from pan to pan. But if you tryed it here, you would want to have a tast for underground mutton and damper and a good eye for where gold maybe. Always interested in storys and information from your way, I hope you enjoy the fourom, there is a welth of knolage and interesting things. What is your nearest town ? Labrador

Hella funny it seems the affliction of prospecting is World Wide and so is the notion their is always better Diggings just over yonder!!I have no first hand experience (YET) in your neck of the woods but I have met a many of man that tread the same places I do and complain that their is no Gold and the Old timers got all of it ECT ECT. Anyway as for the mining laws here in the states they are a threat to small scale miner and I and others like me are on the verge of extinction!!This is due to over regulating and enviromentlist and just plain corruption in my government..

After watching these I want to pack the ute and go. Some nice gold there but it sure looks like it was hard work and if your like me you would have hit the knuckles with that hammer a few times. Rowdy
