Hi all, am in Vic. west of Melbourne side. Had more luck panning than using my expensive detector so far. How long does it take to understand all those noises lol? Dont know any real good spots, guess that takes ages too but its fun being in the bush.

They are the questions doug stone still asks im sure. Mate, research is the key. As for the noises, the more you dig the better your ears get identify targets. Maps are only a reference to where it was found. The best way to attack that is work outside the square Wont take you long. KD
