Here is a media release put out by State Forests Corporation of NSW on Friday...about the new permits to start 1 April -- no foolin!

This reflects a lot of work by NAPFA so if you are still thinking about joining.....as they say at Nike ..... Just do it! $20 is a small investment for a better fossicking future

Thanks for the work on this by NAPFA. The new on-line system is so much better than what they had before. It was a matter of shopping with all of the forestry offices until you could find one willing to put all forests in NSW on your permit. Only found one that would do it otherwise, you had to get a permit from each forestry region (as people well know). Unbelievable situation in 2013 I remember thinking!
