G'day & welcome to the forum. Reedy Creek from Eldorado to Beechworth is probably your best bet up there for getting gold constantly. It might be very fine, but there's lots of it & it doesn't take too much effort to find at least 1 gram in a day.

Welcome to the forum dirtdiggin. Don't give up on Eldorado, it's a great place. There is plenty of gold up there and yes, a lot of it is very fine but there is also some chunkier pieces, just keep digging and don't be scared to move a few huge boulders Jeff

Ok thanks guys!! as were only very new to all this do you's have any tips on where about's along the creek between Eldorado and Beechworth is best to look and am i best off looking in or out of the creek? We've spent about 10 days out there and have nowhere near a gram so perhaps I'm not looking in the right area's. Thanks for any help guys that you can give me and good luck prospecting. Cheers
