Hello Everyone, My name is Steven, and I am pretty new to this.. so bare with me. I am from Adelaide, (Tea Tree Gully actually) I am over 50ish years old.. and counting..lol..Just brought myself Garrett "grand master hunter", .. any information would be great about this model. I happened to like Garrett, as I used to have one years years ago..but.. its took 9 9v batteries..(the cost!!!),so that is why I got myself another Garrett.. hopeful I struck GOLD.. but wouldn't hold my breath just yet lol.. Anyway, enough about me, for now.. Happy Father's day out there today.. and enjoy the sunshine while we all can.. Cheers Steve aka goldfever63

G'day Steven & welcome to the forum. I'm from Vic also & can't say where to look in SA. Don't know anything about that detector, but it's primarily a coin machine isn't it? If so it should be good in the parks & on beaches.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I am sure it also can detect gold or silver, but you right.. I am planning to use it at the beach at later date, also along creeks bed in the country and old farm houses.. who know.. might find something that worthwhile though. cheers Steve
