Performed reasonably well but needs a couple of minor mods to be perfect.
And while I was in the area I videoed this hut over at Yackandandah.

Thanks Andy for again taking the time to pass on your experience and adventures, I do like the hut and it almost has me thinking, deviorse, so I can move in by the end of the week. It looks like it is bush fire resistant as well, there is a lot to be said for semi underground homes in this country. I have no questions for the HBer at this stage, I would like to see how much you could shovel in before it over loads, Looks like a good amount. Looking forward to your modeforcations and when your happy with it.

Thanks lab. The top hopper would comfortably hold about 6 shovels of wash...maybe 8. I'll find out when I modify it & take it back out again.

Looks like the new setup is off to a good start. Is there any problems if there are larger rocks in the wash?

That's the beauty of having the gate Ian. As well as holding the wash back to allow me to puddle up any clay, I can also throw out the larger rocks at the same time.
