Have been using this for a while crevicing. Just thought it may help someone. Screw on lids stick with grit. Still haven't found the perfect hose but any restrictions cause stones to block it. That's why the cable gland on the inlet. A hose tail is a reduction is inner diameter. The inlet hose protrudes halfway down so you can blow the water back out into the crevice. It's easier if you can keep the bottle level or lower than the pick up hose end. Just watch the level of water in the bottle unless you like muddy water. If I don't want to blow it back into the crevice, I blow it back into a soft drink bottle. I can do a lot of work with 1.5 litres. If the water immediately vanishes from the crevice, it is going somewhere deeper, along with any gold. Attachments:
