Great to catch up with Jeff, Bob and Sean at Oallen Ford today. Prizes should be handed out for the following:
Most Black Sand - Jeff (your new highbanker is just "too efficient"!); Most Yellow stuff - Bob (you didn't need your glasses to see the bottom of your pan mate!); Most Persistent - Sean (sadly not an outstanding day, but you never gave up!); Most Sunburn - Yours Truly (I only remembered that I'd packed sunscreen when I saw it in the bottom of my box as we were getting ready to leave!)
Look forward to seeing you all again soon guys!
Wes

Hope you all had a great day. Was the water up at all? Sorry I could not make it this time, but with an exam tomorrow, I would not have been able to relax. Hopefully I will catch up with you all next time.

Look forward to catching up soon mate.
Good luck with the exam tomorrow.
Water wasn't up much at all. Flowing steady in its banks but with no apparent overflow.

Yep, certainly had plenty of the black sand, what a pain in the a... ,
We did pretty well in yellow stuff as well. At a guess I'd say a bit above average. Won't get the chance to run it down the Miller table until next weekend. My guess, around 1.5g.
It was a good day.

Sounds like a good day had by all. 1.5gr is not a bad day for Oallen. I must get down there soon and meet a few of the members. Been ages since I had a dig, just not enough hours in the week Ric
