This Briot lap grinder has four interchangeable wheels but uses one wheel at a time water flows from an overhead source into an internal pump then sprayed onto the wheel and discharge underneath just have to figure out how to get the front off to change the wheels

Nice little unit, no idea how to get it open though sorry. Nothing to do with the two holes in the front? Hope you get it sorted.

I cant see any screws or bolts behind the holes unless there's a clip but hard to see into or behind the cover cheers Harry
oh P.S. yes it's a nice unit that controls and holds the water no over splashing

Looks like it should swing or slide open to get at the wheel. If there are no screws in the hole, maybe have a feel around for a clip on the side with an alan key? Have you tried under the front lip of the face for a lever or release?

Yes Ian there's just a pin hole also had the bottom cover off below the wheel it's a sealed unit so I can't get to it from underneath regards Harry

That port at the front is for the water to drain

I could be wrong, but it looks like the end should unscrew (maybe reverse thread?), and then slide out to get at the wheel. At least your making progress.

Wheel jammed on and won't budge so I would normally use a pully puller but can't get it in to pull the wheel with the cover in the way It's not a good system for changing grinding wheels I may have to invest in a multi wheel grinder regards Harry

That is a pain... Have you tried giving it a soak with WD40? Its a shame, as it looked like a neat little grinder.

If all else fails, you have the option of a 12 pound hammer
