It started out at 4.1kilos that's one nice nugget good on him he found it with a GPZ 7000 Beau if you don't mine me pointing this out with no offence That's 4100 grams divided by 31.1 grams (troy oz) = round up 131.833 ozs as all gold is weighed by the troy oz now you convert 4100grams by 28grams you will get 146.429 a classic mistake by most people I hope this will help when you start your detecting & sluicing regards Harry

Nice that he also found the other two nuggets as well, by the look of them they must of been quite heavy as well being that they look to be 1/7th the size of the bigger nugget.

There has been a casting made of all those nuggets that he found already, by the same chap that makes all the replica nuggets found in Australia for most museums around the world. He works for the Melb Museum. He's the one who makes the replica nugget "The Hand of Faith" This same chap will be at the Laanecoorie Gold Bash with his replica nuggets on display. He may even show you how they are made. I think he is making us a replica "Hand of Faith" to go into the Sunday's auction. nugget893

Good point on the American and our ounce. A few more grams for us which are great when our dollar drops and gold goes up donny
