looking for anyone who would be interested in doing a camp trip to the golden triangle over the school holidays this year after term 4 ends. my thought are to start a little mining trail with a bit of fun involved too. I have a famiy a 9mth old, 4yr old, yr old and a 6 yr old and my wife. if anyone is intested in coming for a family trip with some prospecting throughout the trip let me know as we are just new to this so ALL advice would be good. all we have is 2 spades and a few gold pans but am keen to learn on what else we need or need to do. what other way to learn but with a camp trip and practice. I have a few shovels, a couple gold pans and in a few weeks ill have my hand crank trommel wash plant finished. so let me know what your thoughts are. all welcome.

I have plans to visit the Golden Triangle myself and I've got a Miner's Permit as well. I do both detecting with a metal detector and panning. I'm still quite new myself, but I've been immersing myself in gold prospecting and learning all I can. Would be nice to not go it alone and share any tips I've learned and learn what other's have to share as well.
