Just a report from Reedy Creek after a full day out. Still got a high and strong flow but the sediment churning brown water has eased a bit and starting to get a bit of clarity. Some of the rock bars and pockets have stared padding with soft clays and silts and there are a few more gravel bars popping up now that the water is dropped a little. Got some good colour today by feeding the HB with some overburden in a crevice then finishing off with a small hand pump. Around 10-20 colours at the base per pump. Still a bit of water seeping out of the hills and swampy bog holes on upper terraces in the valley. The top crossing is still closed so there may of been damage to the culvert as it should be passable by now. Not too much rain forecast in the near future - so creek should be starting to recede each day and open up a few more options. Till next time....
