Gidday all I found a tusk while digging in the creek (West Gippsland) area would anyone know what kind it is??? Searched online but couldn't find anything close to it... Cheers GDA

Top tooth of a wombat maybe? Rowdy It's 2 1/4 inches and missing I'd say 3/4 inch from the tip, so not sure...

I would have said wombat tooth at first, now I'm not so sure. claw looks right as well.
It's a good find though.

Wombats are herbivores. Looks like a carnivores tooth or a claw. The latter is more likely donny

It looks a bit like a pigs tooth, bit hard to see if it is hollow, looking forward to hearing what you have when you do find out.
