Has anyone else ever had a problem with fine flour gold getting stuck in your Sniffer Bottle?
While doing clean-up today on the gold in my vials and that was panned, I kept washing out my bottle into my pan to make sure I got it all and keep finding heaps of specs washing out of my bottle when I thought it was clean. I'm also using dishwasher soap, I know about JetDry but don't have any yet. Anything else anyone can recommend to keep it from getting stuck? I had to wash the bottom out like 8 times before I was sure not a single spec of gold was coming back out.

Instead of jetdry we use rinseaid out here. Same stuff just different name. Used in dishwashers, it will break surface tension on water without getting bubbles everywhere.
This is how i get my gold out of the snuffer bottle.

Thanks for the Rinseaid, I've been using regular dishwasher soap.
Another tip I learned if you have a vial with water in it and want to get rid of most of it. Just put the sniffer with straw inside the bottle and suck out all but the last of the water and then air dry it with the lid loose. Another method to dry the gold instead of cooking it.

Yes that's how i dry my gold, though if iam in a hurry i have been known to heat the glass vial on a lighter or candle. Just remember to heat slowly as the last thing you want to do is shatter the vial with all the gold in it.
