One of my favourite meals when I'm in my cabin in the woods.
Step 1 - fry some onions until soft & clear (with garlic if you like), then set aside
Step 2 - boil some spuds and mash them
Step 3 - add the onions and garlic to the mashed potato then add a small can of peas (keep the liquid from the peas can aside for Step 5) and a small can of tuna (just the tuna not the liquid - I prefer springwater)
Step 4 - stir all this mix together and keep it simmering with lid off - reduce it all down by simmering so its not too runny
Step 5 - whip up some Gravox Parsley in White Sauce - use the peas can liquid and tuna can springwater to make the sauce - add a little milk or water if necessary to increase the quantity of sauce
Step 6 - serve up the mash mix and pour the thick parsley sauce over the top
Step 7 - sit down and eat !
Ingredients:-
1 x onion (I prefer red)
2 x garlic cloves (optional)
3 x medium mash-able spuds
1 x small can of peas
1 x small can of tuna (in springwater is my choice)
1 x packet of Gravox Parsley in White sauce powder
A little milk if available for the sauce - tho' water is fine too.
Bon appetit !
