Alluvial gold from the Peel River

This was sluiced quite a few years ago from between Nundle and Bowling Alley Point

this is the Dutchman working the Peel and we (my son and I) set our sluice up to the right about 30mt or 90 feet down stream

from the Dutchman, a few nuggets over 2grams came out of the hole and were well rounded,

not all the gold here is from the Peel but a fair bit of the rounded water worn gold is

Oh P.S. John (the Dutchman) walked away with a few oz of the good stuff after finishing his diggings and enlarging my diggings

(I left the hole for him as I had to go to Taree for my sisters birthday)
