GDay!
Just wondering, has anyone ever been in this state forest for a pan/sluice? Is it possible or worth looking into?
I'm driving from QLD all the way down to the Kozzy NP for some summer camping. I'm keen for ideal spots where I can easily drop a sluice in the creek with the kids and muck around for a couple of hours before we venture in to the national park areas where we can't fossick. Don't want too much fuss, would LOVE to see a few specs of colour to make it worth while but I know that's a big ask haha.
I have been researching all day, for areas.. not really coming up with much so far. I saw that New Maragle Creek had a mine and some gold works, and I've got that pin via a map (https://www.latlong.net/c/?lat=-35.815638&long=148.329572) but yeah not sure..
Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers Rolley
