Lack of rain and hot weather has caused Reedy to stop flowing quite early on in the season. A few stagnant pools here and there along the creek for High banking or panning but pretty limited.

I hit the same problem on the Rocky River at Uralla. It's the first time I've ever seen not flow at all - not even between pools of different elevations. So I have developed efficient panning practices as a result!

I weighed in my takings for Beechworth. I worked a couple of small crevices and ledges by scraping / brushing up the dry dirt and panning off in pools. Could only do about 2 hours because of the heat but still got 0.21 grams. I also found a $1 and $2 dollar coin so that was bonus.. The cracks were in sections where the flow would of been if there was water.
