At last I am going away to do a bit of fossicking for the first time in a few years. Due to family troubles , health problems over the last year and of course old favorite Coronaviris restrictions I havent been away for a fair while Have had to replace most of my gear as I gave away most of what I had as I didnt think I would be into it again . Shows how everything changes so am off to Nundle on Wed for a while just to relax and try out the new gear .
Cheers all Ron

Have fun out there!
I went fossicking up in the New England area a few weeks ago, but missed Nundle due to time constraints. The rains up there have made everything very green compared to this time last year, and the recent big storms have hopefully added flood gold to the peel and the creeks up top near Hanging Rock.

Great news Ron and I'm glad that your hitting the creeks again mate. What are you doing High Banking, sluicing or just panning ? Look after yourself mate and don't push it to hard. cheers nugget893.

Hi all Unfortunately didn't turn out as well as I would have liked .Day 1 had problems with the caravan jockey wheel and did my back in trying to fix it . On top of that the temp was through the roof so just had a relaxing time with other park visitors .Was really looking forward to trying out some new gear I bought , o well there is always next time. Still it was good just to get away after this years restrictions and met some nice people ' Ron

That's a bummer Ron. Hope the jockey wheel is fixed & your back came good.

It only took a trip into Tamworth to fix the jockey wheel problem but the back is taking a lot longer to come good . The joys of getting old , everything takes more time than it did in our youth .

Ron if you are ever thinking of come down to Maryborough Vic. (depending on border control) I've got 2 High Bankers and a pump that will take both. We can hit areas around here. I'm sure that Rowdy may like to join us as well. And Andy does not live that far away either. Cheers mate. nugget893

Hi Bill first off Happy Xmas to you and Bridget ;
You must have read my mind as I was thinking that I would like to head south (whenever the powers that be allow it )To do a bit .Would be great to catch up with all of you again Have been remembering the good times we spent as a group at elDorado in happier times .A shame Doug had to shut up the park Still there are others around the area . Really enjoyed the relaxing times spent there with good friends . Hopefully when things get back to normal and the temp drops a bit will be able to come down
Cheers to all Ron
