Yep found mine not being square also. Joe the photo is too dark to tell. What combination are you using on the mats? Are you running it down the whole lenght? It looks good with the new addition to the sluice. Should make your job a lot easier. Time for a road test when the river drops a bit. Cheers Chris

But now I have to shave a little off for the tape on the sides. Will take some footage next trip to. Hoping to finish the mat today after work. Still working on clip system for the extension. Then to work out the base as the horse is little short.

Joe, is the new sluice part the same width as the old one? You could probably use a piano hinge of sorts to attach them together. It will then be able to fold in half for easier transport.[the wrong way though] Remember that the frame you build will give it the rigidity that you need. If the new sluice slides on the outside its a different story

Well I ended up supergluing the 13 sections as per the video, only because the length of the matt made it impossible staying together just with tape.(while handling it - take out of the box transportation in a bucket and placing it back in the box)

Thanks Chris , had to go up the farm to weld this bracket for the bucket that sits on the HB. While I was up there did the false perforated flooring , the joint for the two parts and the plate like what Shivan had . Will post pics soon

GR did you hear that Skip is away ;D. No claim jumping just get an extention like this but wait who is going to do whipping? Hmmm .... Skip last time I had to rerun my pile and would have picked up 0.3g . Chris was next to me and couldn't belive it as well. Steep angle to combat the iron stone but short sluice you can picture but now hoping it will give me good idea what's happening. Comes in two parts so not that bad and it's alluminium and I can always cut it and make another one out of it if need to be. Cheers mate. PS Chris, I will hopefully be there weather permitting. I will be servicing my 5 hp pump next ...
