sorry that is a question, my gusse is the euicka stockade Labrador Your Correct mate The Eureka Stockade Battle is recognized as the first official battle against the Australian government of the day and the first battle fought on Australian soil. It was declare as a war for equal rights against the Government and fought by many nationals of free men standing under one flag. Also the reason that it is recognized as a war is because both side lost men in the battle. Vinegar Hill. Was a rebellion and not a war. There was only one successful large-scale convict rebellion in Australia's colonial past. This was the rebellion of 1804 that led to the "Battle of Vinegar Hill" in Sydney's north western suburbs. The New South Wales Corps had marched all night and most of the next morning from Sydney in order to catch the rebels outside of Rouse Hill. A short battle was fought which ended the rebellion. So Labrador it is your turn now to ask a question mate nugget893

A famious Astrailian person in Austrailian history ! Q. What was the name of the man who was involved in the devlopment of the First atomic bomb.
When you find him or you most likely already know him, check out some of the other achievements he was involved in, and take in to account most of us were still alive in his time. Lab

AJ, you have it one, well done. I dont know what to do when the next question is fowarded, I had a hard enough time coming up with Sir Mark. to have a new one ready. So while we wate for the judge to deside. If othere Goggel Sir Mark Oliphant, and have a quick read to some of the things he also came up with, I am sure you would be amazed what one Austrailian can do or did. Labrador

Provided I have the right facts, this chap came out of a hole and clamed, I think we I have found a new Bendigo.
